Autumn is the season of the harvest! A grand harvest moon shines in the sky. The winds sing a song that sounds slightly different for each of us. But every song boasts the collective message, of a great bounty and overall success, on the October horizon. This is a time to get our affairs in order to fully receive what is coming our way. Collect your magic.
First, Spirit brought Autumn blessings welcoming us to change with the wind. Now we are receiving balance, settling into formation.
Though these spiritual shifts can be physically jarring, they are necessary to cultivate the best of our seasonal magic. What better way to do this than to use Autumn’s richest colors and flavors? Teas and soups are prevalent in this season because of their warm, all-encompassing recipes that are similar to magic potions.
I’ve included 3 of my favorite and easy natural tea and soup recipes , infused with the reds, browns, oranges and golds for multisensory therapy. These recipes are perfect to help combat seasonal affective disorder or S.A.D., bouts of depression and anxiety, and general melancholy. They will assist in bringing balance and healing to the body as well as the spirit, thus helping you to get in line with your brand of success.
The ingredients for these particular potions can be found at your local grocery or farmer’s market. No need to be overwhelmed. And if you feel the need to shift the ingredients, please do so.
